All India radio, what a weird name for a band. The music though is pretty much mainstream. On their Myspace they are being compared to all those big big names, Portishead, Air, but I wouldn’t take it that far. Don’t get me wrong though, I really dig this Australian band and love that song I have heard on Pampelmoose. It is a good chillout, triphop pop and it reminds me of that great N. Cherry song, 7 seconds.

Portland`s A weather sound good. Whispery dreamy vocals, Fender Rhodes, acoustic guitars, good songs. It feels real nice this early in the morning with the first coffee before you can deal with your daily chores. Naïve and innocent childlike well crafted songs and harmonies.

I have seen this most amazin band, Arizona, well, embarassing to say, again, on LaundroMatinee. You got to see this wild session they did for them. This is music, spontanious, full of feel and emotion, this band sounds grrrrreat. Unbelievable. Check it out

I have just found out about this wonderful Israeli progressive band that broke up years ago and now reformed for a reunion show last weekend. They are called Hot Fur and they are hot -Zappa hot. Check out this clip they have. I have heard about them through this indie Israeli music blog called Ear plugs. Thank you Ear plugs.
