This band`s bio is fascinating so I`ll let them speak for themselves. Check out the Hispanic answer to the Beatles.
…”There’s a part of me that doesn’t want our bio left up to the label or some writer’s imagination because I don’t like being misrepresented, and because maybe there’s some kid out there who’s just genuinely curious about our band, and would like to hear stuff straight from the asshole’s mouth. That said, where we’re from has a lot to do with our approach to our music, and with who we are. We’re all from the South Bay in Los Angeles. That’s our bond. ( Read the entire article )

Toumani Diabaté is one of the most important musicians in Africa. Toumani plays the kora, a harp unique to West Africa with 21 strings; and more than any other kora player it is Toumani who is responsible for bringing this instrument to audiences around the world. He is a performer of truly exceptional virtuosity and creativity – someone who shows that the kora can rival the world’s greatest instruments. Listen to this incredible piece called “Elyne road”
Bon Iver meets Lennon -That`s how Brian Olive sounds to me – simple and hypnotic
Listen to “There is love”

Maturity. This is what Hombre Lobo is about. This song by Mark Oliver Everett Has made me so jealous. All my lifeI have been trying to simplify things. But I guess it is not me. I have a tendency of over doing, over producing, over overdubbing. I guess it is insecurity. It is a feeling that it is never enough. But M. O. Everrett or The Eels as most of you know him doesn’t think that way. The proof: His wonderful mature new lofi recording project titled Hombre Lobo. This is an incredible collection of small simple wonderful songs with bare, minmal simple arrangements and choice of instruments. Just wonderful. I have chosen to embed a video clip of this great song called “That look you give that guy” – this is from someone who doesnt have to prove nothing to no one
