Personally, I am not really into Dubstep. I mean, I love dub music, but Dubstep is not my favorite groovy genre. Till I heard Burial. This dark, minimal, extremely powerful trax from this musician, producer, remixer that killed me once with Unite, does it again with Fostercare. Listen:

Take a ride

What you are about to see here is rock in it`s best. No bullshit gtr drm duo, a female guitar player/ vocalist & a drummer/ vocalist. Heavy, fat, fast, angry, messy, dirty, extremely loud, mayhem…. one of the best f..in rock bands to come out of Israel. Their name is Carusella and we are in love with their guitar player/ singer. Watch those photos and you`ll understand why. Les Paul, Marshalls on 11 and a Ludwig set and here we go now. Jack White would approve and probably steal her from us. Watch more photos

Asik Veysel

September 27th, 2009

“Aşık Veysel Şatıroğlu (October 25, 1894 – March 21, 1973), also known as just Aşık Veysel, was an Alevi Turkish minstrel and highly regarded poet of the Turkish folk literature. He was born in the Sivrialan village of the Şarkışla district, Sivas, on October 25, 1894 and died on March 21, 1973. He was an ashik, a poet, songwriter, and a bağlama and saz virtuoso, the prominent representative of the Anatolian ashik tradition in the 20th century. He was blind for the most of his lifetime. His songs have usually sad tunes, often talking about the inevitability of death” – Wikipedia.

..”Brought together by their love of simple melodies, 16mm films, cartoon doodles, and experimental pop music, Balún was formed in 2002 in San Juan, Puerto Rico by José and Angélica. Their sound is one of soft and sweet rhythmic sound collages- simple guitar riffs, subdued glitchy beats and sounds of bells, strings and accordion accompanied by Angelica’s child-like dreamy singing”….. They create a nicer world. (The Balun site)
