The restroom sessions

October 16th, 2009

Started out a project called the Restroom sessions, using bits and pieces of all those promo cards I took at the entrances of the toilettes in Berlin. In every restaurant, bar, club or coffee shop you can finf amazing looking promo cards, usually promoting a band or cultural event. So I have returned home with a suitcase full with cards and this is the first collage. It`s actual size is 1Mx1.5M

Back from Berlin

October 13th, 2009

Apologies for disappearing for a whole week. We were in Berlin trying to capture wild sounds and sights for you, lots of music, visual mayhem….. Just for the time being, check out Ignaz Schick (, turntablelism master, master of accidents and founder of TITO, or just try to catch TITO in Berlin on October 22, 23, 25. The unique thing about Ignaz is that he chose the challenging and somewhat limited way ( turntables, bedroom recording) over the digital option ( samplers, computer manipulation software), and uses it to create the most wonderful music, minimalistic, challenging and filled with emotions. listen to “The view underneath one”

Mum live

October 3rd, 2009

We went to see Mum live at the Barbie club Tel Aviv last night. A great concert and a great band. Their style is so unique, their music is fascinating, 8 people on stage, great arrangements and instrumentation. We collaborated with this great college station 106FM kol Hakampus and filmed the entire show, part of it on stage with the band and we are going to post it in a few days on the Lofiles vimeo pages and right here on the Lolive section.
