Fatcat received demos from this band 6 years ago. Since then, they got signed to Western vinyl and and by now they are officially semi retired. It’s a shame if you listen to this demo Burd early had sent titled ‘Fertilizer waiting to happen’. If you visit their Western vinyl page you see they are trying to sell last BE copies to clear shelve space…kinda sad when you think about it.

Charles-Eric Charrier was one half of the duo MAN. Charles-Eric and his partner Rasim Biyikli have recorded three albums and worked for film soundtracks, painters, choreographers and completed many tours. Charles-Eric also writes and records as a solo artist under the name OLDMAN. He has collaborated with many artists and musicians including Mathias Delplanque (LENA), Rob Mazurek, Jérôme Paressant (ABRAXAS PROJEKT), THE CLOGS, Orange Blossom, Rhys Chatham, Teamforest, and Le COQ…
Cant wait for the October Peek A Boo records release of Hexagon, The octopus project live venture, inspired by Steve Reich and Terry Reily. the band used custom electronics (The Bend Matrix) and software (Ableton Live, VDMX, OSCulator)and pushed it`s use to its limits. Ultimately, they arranged eight speakers in a circle around the audience, with the audience surrounding the band at the center, accompanied by eight synchronized video projections, designed by Austin digital artist Wiley Wiggins. ‘What It Means To Be Left-Handed’, Mice parade new album was mostly recorded at Adam’s home studio in upstate New York, a cozy place at the edge of a forest which over the last two years has also served Animal Collective, Frightened Rabbit, Tom Brosseau, Ensemble and others in various capacities. Peter Katis (The National, Frightened Rabbit) mixed “In Between Times” and “Even,” and Jeremy Backofen (Felice Brothers) engineered and assisted Pierce in mixing the rest. Check out Tokyo_Late_Night
Love this Cloud nothings song,Hey cool kid. 18 year old Dylan Baldi recorded a handful of catchy lo-fi indie rock songs on his computer over the winter, and this is the result we put on repeat today, by the way D signed to Carpark records and is about to release this by winter 2010.
