November 22nd, 2011

Though Lee Noble’s Horrorism sold out through Bathetic, they’re still reeling from its impact. They asked Lee to put together a list to showcase some of his direct influences on Horrorism. You can check that on via the Bathetic blog, here and check out this awesome new video for ‘Parents’

Tristan O’Donnell AKA Guilt Ghosts makes heavenly music with the sparse, unique and ‘just right’ use of guitar loops, delays, repetitious hypnotic riffs which he uses to slowly build up those little melodic pieces, occasionally lifted by sparse, simple and dry drum machine kick and snr patterns . Guilty Ghosts’s Veils has been my companion for the last couple of days and I got to the point that as a musician, I really envy Tristan for this clear vision he got, for the ability to foresee and deliver such a refined product, this ambient guitar record. He says on his bandcamp page: “Those songs are the kind fit for rainy days, everlasting evenings, and melancholy moments in solitude”..in other words…nowwwww. Name your price and help this real talented dude to continue and create more records like Veils. Purchase it HERE

Stone Face

November 14th, 2011

..“The new Stone Face album is not about an avant-garde sound or studio gimmickry. It’s just good songs, sung heartfelt, and rarely in a pin-downable “style.” From what I’ve heard, he might be going in some radically different directions next, so savor this summer sweetness while you can. He’s prolific, and these songs, however crudely recorded, deserve your time and effort. There’s real sadness, real humor, real compassion in it. It’s music that wants to be your friend. Download it for free at his bandcamp”… We love it!!

Mess Trader

November 1st, 2011

I really respect this motherfucker, his art, his awesome music, the whole nine.. Mess trader with his LILLERNE TAPE CLUB, SINCE 2007, this awesome boutique imprint, and now with a new tape, Gelatin kids. Sounds so dope, this is the reason I am doing this , and these are my late night moments, you know, my time, the daily noise is muffled and so distant, and I am lost and find myself again in this shelter I have fabricated years ago, when I was a child, just with my headphones on so nothing unwanted would touch me no more. Help this guy do what he has been doing so well since 2007 and check out his “please donate version…..

…”i’m in pennsylvania at a wedding and i wanted to take this moment to tell u to buy tapes from me at Lillerne, help pay for my yuengling”…..
