Guilty or not guilty?
It is not the first time I mention Guilty Ghosts (Tristan O’Donell solo project) here, and I believe I have treated him with a bonus graphics the last time around. I truly love those instrumental guitar pieces. Usually, I tend to stay away from guitar players music, cause most of the time, its fuckin boring, as they tend to play according to the obvious voicings, and quite often, don’t succeed in sounding too original. GG though, is a quite different project. It is more the Mogwaii way, those imaginative guitar parts and the sounds, it is not too clean or distorted, it is just right, no bullshit sounding tracks and riffs. Everything is there for a reason. Nobody is trying here to sound too sophisticated. It is just what Tristan O’Donell does best, and like Zappa had said once..”Shut up and play your guitar”, or should we say, Shut up and listen?
