Personally, if I was to make an album, and a producer would come up to me and ask me how I wanted it to sound my reply would be; “like ‘Bones‘ by Fenster”.. This magnificent album is coming out by March 2012 on Morr music. The sound of bedroom music, dry small and just right drums with gorgeous and tasteful guitars, everything is being placed perfectly in the mix and balance of things. A perfect mixture of lo and hi. Listen to an appetizer and wait patiently for this one. Its well worth the wait.

Coma cinema’s Matt Cothran has been releasing a lofi bedroom trilogy lately titled ‘Death 2 America’ under the pseudonym Elvis Depressedly. If you love Coma Cinema’s music as much as we do, actually, even if you have never heard Matt’s stuff before, you are going to dig this project. The first bunch of songs under this moniker was released in August , 5 tracks he had titled ‘Save the planet kill yourself’, which is different and darker than the other 2 releases and the Coma cinema stuff you are used too, sounds like Matt meets Tricky, just lighter on the low end. ‘Goner’ continues where Coma Cinema’s last release has left you– consists of 5 tracks and was released in October, and the lovely ‘Disgraceland’, released couple of weeks ago. Elvis’s music was recorded at his new pad in Columbia. Lllllllllovely. Brought to our attention and ears by the one and only Hannah Baker who is joining the Lofiles small team. Nico Giarrano has been releasing music as Places for a little while now, and March is his first attempt at stringing together a full set of songs,. This is another extremely creative bedroom pop project, like the ones we enjoy discovering.

The album is quite versatile, and although you could always blame lofi for everything that is off, Nico succeeded in creating a perfect balance between skills and the rough spontanious ‘accidental’ stuff. Great combination of distorted vocals, dry lofi drums, cool sounding guitars, this is a dude that could really go far with them skills and his musical and artistic ability.
