The village to the vale
Autumn chorus write about their debut: ..” Largely mixed and produced by the band, every song had been picked apart during the recording process to ensure that every note was there for a reason, and that more importantly each song had heart”…Their debut reminds me of progressive rock music albums I grew up listening to, in the vein of Genesis, Pink Floyd, King Crimson, ELP and many great others. They are telling a story, and the album is a one piece should be listened to as a whole, not just one great song or a single. From the opening piece you know that you are onto something different, and if you have lost your attention span because everything today is about headlines and titles and brief introductions and 70 note tweets, continue and look for immediate art cause this band took the time and you had better sit down, light up a fat joint, put your expensive headphones on and let them carry you away.
